Abstract
Studies on fractal antennas have been increasing in recent years. The reason for this is the self-similarity and space-filling feature of fractal antennas. Thanks to its self-similarity feature, fractal antennas show multiband behaviour. Also, using the self-similarity feature, a fractal antenna can be designed to receive and transmit a wide range of frequencies. Furthermore, since the space-filling feature makes it possible to reduce the antenna size, the antenna is miniaturized thanks to this feature. For these reasons, the use of fractal antennas is becoming more and more widespread. This paper first introduces the microstrip antenna and then introduces the definition of fractal theory, the concept of fractal dimension and its iterative generation of fractal structure functions.
