Abstract
In small scale and large scale applications like automobile industries, domestic appliances such as Refrigerators, washing machine and air conditioning units which use conventional motor technology. These conventional motors have a chacterstics of Low torque, high maintenance and low efficiency. The usage of induction motor enhances various performance factors ranging from higher efficiency, higher torque, high power density, low maintenance and less noise than conventional motors. The main drawback is high cost. In this paper a two leg inverter fed induction motor drive is proposed which uses only four switches and two current sensors compared with six switches, three current sensors in case of three leg inverter fed induction motor drive. Less number of switches and current sensors means less switching loss and low cost. In this paper a two leg inverter fed induction motor drive with two input DC source is proposed.

Abstract
Wireless sensor nodes can be deployed on a battlefield and organize themselves in a large-scale ad-hoc network. Traditional routing protocols do not take into account that a node contains only a limited energy supply. Optimal routing tries to maximize the duration over which the sensing task can be performed, but requires future knowledge. As this is unrealistic, we derive a practical guideline based on the energy histogram and develop a spectrum of new techniques to enhance the routing in sensor networks. Our first approach aggregates packet streams in a robust way, resulting in energy reductions of a factor 2 to 3. Second, we argue that a more uniform resource utilization can be obtained by shaping the traffic flow. Several techniques, which rely only on localized metrics are proposed and evaluated. We show that they can increase the network lifetime up to an extra 90%beyond the gains of our first approach.

Abstract
In recent decade the attention & interest in green and environmentally friendly business practices increased dramatically. This trend is applicable to tourism and hospitality sector as well. Therefore, this study has taken an effort to reveal the prevailing sustainable tourism practices by Sri Lankan hoteliers. The theoretical background of the study defines related terms such as sustainability, sustainable tourism, and sustainable hospitality practices. The study has been carried out as a case study by employing the mixed method. Both quantitative and qualitative techniques & analysis tools were utilized to conclude the findings.
